View Full Version : Dish Pro Plus Question
Has anybody tried to use a Legacy dual or single in the "LNB IN" of a Dish Pro Plus "DPP" on a second dish must carry. Was told it would work but want to hear the success or nightmares first before I try it.

Whoever told you this is wrong. The DPP Twin has a DPP switch built in which requires a DP LNB to be used on the input.

Dish Pro LNBs actually have a switch built into them that stacks the freqs from the sat. A legacy LNB WILL NOT WORK WITH A DP SWITCH(except for the rare case with an FSS LNB that is rotated 90 degrees, and then you ONLY get the odds. No evens). A DBS style LNB MUST BE of the DP style.
