I have called Dish Techincal Support to report this bug.
TV2 connection is via coax.
I have my 942 set to dual mode. Once I've completed my favorites list on TV1 and create a favorites list on TV2 that's when channels drop out from favorites list on TV1. Not all the channels within favorites list are dropped. The remaining channels are four digit channels ie. 9000 & local OTA/local sat on TV1.
Now when I go back to TV1 favorites and reselect channels & save, TV2 favorites channels are dropped. Again not all channels will be dropped from the list. The four digit & local sat remain within favorites list.
I have completed the following -
Returned to factory defaults with no change in results.
Resetting receiver by pressing and hold the front panel power button with no change in results.
Pulling the power cord and restarting with no change in results.
When I called support they advised me nothing further they could do that I haven't already tried. My information will be passed along.
I have tried in single mode & favorites channel list remains ok. When I change to dual mode the channels from favorites list TV2 drop immediately. The four digit & sat locals remain within favorites list.
