Are most of the programs on the Voom 10 closed captioned? In particular are most of the movies closed captioned?

Are these 10 channels all 1080i?

Thanks,

All of the channels are 1080i, but I don't know about the CC. I haven't looked yet.

When I was a Voom subscriber, none of their own channels had closed captioning.

Not a surprise--Discovery HD Theatre and Universal HD aren't CCed either, and can't tell me when they will be.

Gravel, you're not from Laurent, SD, are you? ;)

(Some people will get why I asked.)

I was afraid that was going to be the case. :-( Although I can now relax from getting excited about the Voom channels.

Can't be from a non-existant place! :-) Naw, just a farmer with too many hours on a noisy tractor and a history of hearing loss in the family.

One of my problems with Voom when I first got it was that it took them 2 or 3 months to get their closed captioning working on their box. Then, when it is working well, I ask them when their own channels will be CCed, and I get no response--EVER.

At least DHD and UHD tell me their goal is to have things CCed.

And Laurent may not exist yet, but they're working on it. ;) I hope it works. Wouldn't want to live there, but would be an awesome place to visit.
