No Access Card??

Hello everyone,

I am an ex-Voomer that just joined the E* family.

I have an installer coming next Saturday and the 942 just showed up at my door. I took it out of the box and set it up on the shelf, awaiting the installer but I noticed there is no access card in the box. It was shipped direct from DishNetwork and not from a 3rd party company.

Do the installers bring them or is there a problem i need to call E* about before the installer comes. I had to wait an extra week for a 942 I would hate to have to reschedule.

The 942 has a built-in access card on the main board. The card slot is there in case they need to do a conditional access upgrade in the future.

They have "Built-in" smart cards now. I guess the slot is for future, better, smart cards or something..... :nono2:
