I need some help with my system setup

:confused: I have a single dish now and HD also a separate ota antenna for local hd. My question is can I get a second dish at the 61.5 sat and hook them all together on one set. I am a novice so forgive if i ask stupid ?'s. I am not sure if I need a special switch at the 2 dish * 1 antenna hook up site or can it be hooked up without a problem. Also does dish do this or do I get a TV guy?

Answering this generically, you're going to need a switch to combine the signals from the two dishes together. The switch then feeds one or more receivers so that each receiver can be watching programming on a different satellite (as needed).

In theory, you can check your existing equipment and determine exactly what switch you'll need and you could even install everything yourself, but if you are a novice, you might simply want to call Dish and ask them to install the 61.5 dish for you. They can do this for you and make sure that you have all of the appropriate equipment for your installation. There will be a fee (unless you're in one of the market areas where you have local channels on 61.5!), but this may be the best choice for you.
