942 Install Question

I now have the 942 and love it, but I do have an install question. I know that I have asked this before, but an installer told me that it would not work, so I am just making sure. I have a 942 and 522, and want both tv2s to obtain signals from both receivers. Can you do this by splitting the tv2 output from both and using a diplexor to input both on each tv2. Using different modulator channels for each. If you do this is that all you need is 2 splitters and 2 diplexors? Can you get diplexors at radio shack or can you only get them from dish? thanks for any help!!

You can't input anything on TV2. You'd have to input on the OTA port, but even that won't work yet because analog OTA channels aren't yet activated. Once those are tuned on and work, you'd be able to combine the TV2 output signals from each box with the antenna input lines and tune to the TV2 output of each box on the other box.
