DTV's lowest priced package is Para Todos Opcion Extra... $26.99/mth W/O locals. For new subs anyway. (Some people who have been with them a while still have "Select Choice"). If you own your equipment with E* you can pay a $5/mth access fee and then pick up some stuff ala carte. There are alot of options that way.

Moving to the General Forum...
E* offers Americas Top 60 (AT60) for $26.99 or $31.99 with your local channels.
I don't know what you mean by "package", so here's some cheap alternatives if you are really looking to get your monthly nut to a minimum: E* also offers ala carte with a $5 access fee. For $5.99 plus a $5 monthly access fee or $10.99 you can have your locals, NASA and some shopping, religious and promo channels. You could also subscribe to a movie package for $11.99 and add locals for $5.99 plus a $5 fee totals $22.98 a month. Also, you could subscribe to locals and superstations for a low cost package I believe the supers are $3 when you sub to locals, so $5.99 + $3.00 + $5 = $13.99. Unfortuantely, you likely won't get any of those free or cheap receiver deals unless you sub to at least AT60 and some deals require more. However, you can pick up a basic used receiver on ebay and you're all set.
Good luck.

The $3 Supers added to $5.99 locals is not offered anymore, hasn't been since Feb. Superstations (3 WB, and 2 UPN) are $5.99.
If you are intersted in 36 Christian TV and radio channels there is Sky Angel for $11.99 with a Dish receiver you won't have to pay a access fee. You can add on to that locals or super stations or several other channels alacart or a movie channel.
Here's what I have... Dish super channel package $5.99, waiver for 2 Fox Channels $3, and The Outdoor channel for $1.99, my Dish Network bill is $10.98, plus $11.99 for Sky Angel billed seperately. Sky Angel now includes Fox News, in addition to a Pax station and 34 other Christian tv stations.
I also have the $29.99+$5 tivo package from Directv, the Para Todos Opcion Extra package. I used to have TC+ but to save $16 I downgraded.
