Is the 942 manual available for download? All other current models are in Acrobat format here. <--- Clicky (http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/products/userguides_manuals/index.shtml)

It will be shortly, according to what I've been told.

I wonder what is so hard to put the PDF file on the web site. It is not like they are having to write the manual.

Also I don't understand why they make the manuals in multiple instead of just one PDF file.

Also I don't understand why they make the manuals in multiple instead of just one PDF file.Me neither. They must think we're all on dial-up or something.:nono2:

The whole point about having a PDF file is to help you find things in the manual. That only works well if you have just one file to open.

This one's huge. The first version of the PDF manual that I saw was close to 70 MB in size. I think that's why the delay.

Oh, and there are a significant number of people on dialup still these days...

Mark,

I see you point on dialup. ATI post their driver updates in one big file for those with broadband and in separate files for those with dialup. That would seem like a good way for Dish to do it also.
