I currently have my flat screen HD in a room where there was no cable outlet. When the cable morons came to install an outlet, they just put a splitter on the the outlet on the other side of the wall and punched it through the wall.
Now with dish, if I want to share those two rooms with the 942 HD receiver, will I be able to do that with a basic install? Or will a new outlet need to be run from the cable box?
Thanks for the help, can't wait to get Dish back.

If those are the two rooms you want to link with the 942 there isn't too much trouble provided the cable is rg-6 and in good shape. The splitter would be removed and the feed line for it would go to a separator. Two lines from the separator to the input of the 942. TV2 output to the line heading to the other room. A new line from TV1 output to the flatscreen. A dual wallplate would be helpful but not entirely needed.
