226 and what its done for me...

I live in the San Fran Bay area and OTA here for me has always be supurb for me. I have a CM4228 on a 15 foot mast on top of a 2 story house. All stations come in betwean 85-100%

Now with 226 I constantly get error 739 The offair signal has been lost. Signal acquistion in progress. Please wait. I flip over to my HTPC and the very station is fine.


My OTA guide data also just disapears now. It like air leaking out of a ballon. Its fully populated with a weeks worth of data then a couple of hours later they are all blank.


Did this release fix anything of real value becasue it sure broke something of real value.

Its fully populated with a weeks worth of data then a couple of hours later they are all blank.Try a warm boot (hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds and let the 942 reboot). That always brings back local channel guide data for me. It may also reset the OTA HD receiver so that it can lock on again. Try it and let us know.
