942 pre-purchase question - Sony remote control

Has anyone gotten the 942 work with a Sony RMAV3100 remote control? I have a 508 that I trained to work, wiith an occasional lock-up.

Yes it works fine with my 3100. I used the generic Dish code. I cannot remember the number right now. Found it on the web.

It programmed basic functionality and then I learned the rest.

I find for whatever reason, I have to hold down the button on the 3100 a little longer for the receiver to actually "take" the command. Not sure why this is the 942 is the only piece of equipment that I have to hold the button a little longer.

If I find the component code, I'll reply back.
