Anyone know between e* and d* who has the best service? I really don't care about tivo or HD,just basic service w/ locals. One factor is with d* i need two dishes(72.5,101) and with e* just a superdish. I had d* a few years ago and loved it but i'm just not wild on the idea of having two dishes. Is there really a BIG difference between the two?

It depends on what you mean by basic. E*'s AT60 is better than D*'s Para Todos Opcion Extra and D*'s Total Choice is better than E*'s AT120... Cost is relatively close for 1 room systems. Go to EKB and compare the line-ups...

No, there's no BIG difference between the two, but there are differences. Look at the channel charts and see who has the channels you want at the best price.
