10:15am Dish network van arrives at my house and I am notified at work to come let them in.

10:20am I arrive at home to let technicians inside to set up.

12:25pm Technicians are finally done installing the dish and setting up all 4 receivers.

12:30pm Technicians explain the contract, tell me to enjoy, and leave.

12:35pm Technician rings doorbell and asks me not to get upset.

12:36pm I survey the damage from the Dish Network van which has plowed into the side of my car in the driveway.

No wonder the Dishplayer is so crappy

(Sorry I could not help myself)

If this story is true I am sorry, but I find it kind of funny.

Let us know what happened.

Unfortunately this is a true story, and the local Dish Network store wouldn't return my calls about any equipment compensation. Their insurance did cover the bill however including rental car money.

One week later: Digital cable salesman found dead in alley with dish network channel guide rolled up & sticking out of his nose.

Police officer to reporter: "Cable rage. We're seeing a lot of that lately."

Nope, as I said earlier there was no compensation with service, equipment or anything besides fixing the car. I tried though.
