I know that the 942 will not recognize analog OTA but will it allow analog pass through like the other Dish receivers? I know you can't use that to DVR but at least you can get the signal passed through?

I don't think so...maybe, though...haven't tried it myself.

Another question if I have a dish 34 switch and have 3 sats into the inputs, where can you input an antenna? What is the best way to do that?

Nope. There is no passthru (at least in single user mode). The RF output is modulator only and displays the screensaver in standby mode.

Best way is to run a separate cable for the antenna. If that is difficult, you can buy a pair of diplexers and use one of the existing cables running between the switch and the receiver.
