Any help will be appreciated.

When the new VOOM HiDef channels came on-line, I went to
the roof and moved my 148 dish to point at 61.5.

Everything was fine until about a week or so ago. I lost half
of the channels. (Error - Signal Lost...) Then I lost all of the
channels including CBS-HD.

But I still get TV5 fine from 61.5. Signal strength on some
transponders are 0, others are 75.

Before I climb back on the roof to re-aim, does anyone have
a clue that something else may be going on?

Thanks. George

It could be (in order of likelyhood) a bad connection, bad cable, bad switch or bad LNB. All of these could account for the problems you are having. What kind of switch/LNB are you using? Also what receiver model. This will help in trying to figure out where the problem might be.

Or that tree that is growing there. :)

Good point! Could be new growth that is partially blocking signal. Since Rainbow 1 provides a much lower signal strength in many parts of the country than E*3, it could be just that!

The dish needed to be nudged a bit!

After an adjustment and sig-strength topping at 103, all the VOOM channels are
back. Now I need to look at getting these bolts to stay put in the wind!
