The 301 push has borjked up my receiver(PVR 501). Its now stuck at the black warning screen stating Warning! Receiver software update in progress. Do not disturb the receiver..
The only button that does anything is the power button. Holding it in for >5secs will cause red led to light and reset. Releasing it the black screen comes back immediately.
I've tried removing the smart card, disconnecting dish, unplugging.. menu 6 3..
Seems I got a corrupted update and now its stuck and won't take a new one. After 2 hours on the phone with dish it looks like I'm going to have to exchange it.. unless someone has something else to try..

Just went and rehooked it up after sitting with no power for 2+ hours and it took the update and restarted.. just like new.. btw it was 300 that was downloaded not 301 that I presumed.
