I have a Mits HD set up in my living room and an SD Sony in my bedroom. So right now I have a 6000 and a standard receiver, subscribe to locals for the bedroom tv (I have excellent OTA reception on my Mits) and the 180/HD pak. I have a 500 with legacy LNBs.

I'm tired of waiting for the 921 to work properly and they are letting me lease a 942. I will need the second dish which I'm getting under the "locals" rule for free. The question is, what should I be looking for them to hook up in terms of LNBs and switches?

Also, I have no local phone service (a local city authorized monopoly makes the minimum local phone service $40/month!) , only cell phones. How do I avoid additional charges as I'm trying to cut costs as much as practical since the boss (read wife) is allowing this 942 lease cost only if I get the other costs down, or at least not increased.

If folks are willing to provide advice, I'd be much obliged! :)

Thanks,

Steve
