I live the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC and have had my 921 for more than a year. Until the last week, I received an excellent signal from NBC4 using a Channel Master 4228 in my attic. Since late last week, I get significant ghosting on NBC4 - and only on NBC4. Any ideas or suggestions?

Is this happening on the Analog Station?

No, the analog station is fine. It's only on OTA.

Your 921 is capable of receiving both the old analog station from over-the-air and/or the digital station. I'm guessing that when it was first setup, it was setup to only receive the digital station. (Digital = clear signal, no ghosts.) Somewhere along the line, you lost the setting for the local, over-the-air digital signal, and it was relaced by the local over-the-air analog signal. Go into your system set-up, and check which over-the-air channels are programmed to be recieved. Remove NBC-4's analog channel and add the NBC-4 digital channel.

Depending on the equipment used by the stations, an antenna used for receiving the stations analog SD signal may be out of alignment, thus creating ghosting on the digital channel.

It is a problem with WRC's encoder. I've been seeing it too. Check the Balt.-Wash. local thread over at AVS forum: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=5744477&&#post5744477 (and subsequent). I don't know if it's fixed yet. I haven't seen much TV this week.
