Last Sunday the tech from "E" came out and set up my 942 and moved my 721 to another room. After 4 hours and installing all new equipment on the roof as well as running all new coaxial in the attic, he finally got the 942 working.
Here's where my stupidity steps in. I was setting up my remote and when I was setting up the HD settings I hit a wrong DPI input for my Mitsibishi 65". Apparently it will not handle 1080. I lost total picture, remote control, everything. I could not get to any of the menus or see a thing on the TV.
I call into tech support and a sweet lady has me trying all sorts of combinations to try and get the remote to control the receiver. Unpluging and pluging lines on the receiver back, the TV lines, switching cables her and there. After a full 2 hours she comes up with this code I input into the remote and I finally get control back and everything worked so I thanked her graciously and hung up.
Here is my problem now. I have no PIP at all. I am using the unit in single mode but when I hit PIP i get nothing. I have no earthly idea how it was hooked up in the back of the unit or my TV since the tech incident.
Anyone have any ideas as to how the lines are run from the unit to a TV?
