According to this recent news article (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050607/75361.html?.v=1):
Intellon's INT5200 HomePlug integrated transceiver is used in EchoStar's high definition DISH Player-DVR 942.
Does this mean the DVR-942 is currently putting some type of radio signal on the AC wiring in my house? Is there any way to use this signal with 3rd party HomePlug boxes to "distribute satellite radio to the entire house"?

I don't think that its supported yet.

And like Firewire on the 921, it will be supported in a future release of the software.

On the tech forum, they mentioned that one future enhancement is that only one Dish reciever in the house will need a phone connection; others will access it through power line networking. They indicated that there would be other cool features, and told us to watch future shows for details.
