942 DVR play back lockup

I purchased a 942 about two weeks ago and just recently started having problems playing back recorded events. When I playback the recorded event, it will play for a while and then lockup. The picture freezes and I loose audio. It will some times come back and start working after a couple of minutes and sometimes it takes a reboot. It does this on all the recorded events. These events are recorded off Sat. not OTA. I don't experience any other problems. Has anyone else experienced this. I called Dish and put in a report to the Tech. Support but they said they hadn't heard of this. I was told to wait a week and call back.
