I don’t know if this is an issue with the DVR, the OTA channel or what but here’s what happened to me tonight.

I was recording a show on an OTA Channel that was one hour long (it was not an HD program, just an SD program over the OTA channel).
We started watching the show from the beginning about 45 minutes into the show so it still had about 15 minutes to record.
On the first commercial brake I hit the skip forward button about 6 times in a row, one the 6th skip forward the DVR put me on “Live TV” as if the system would have skipped all the way to the end of what was being recorded.
Once the show ended, I started the show over again and tried the skip forward once more. This time, once I hit the skip button 4 times the show paused and sent me back to the DVR event screen where it asked me if I wanted to start over or delete, etc.

In order to make sure this wasn’t a once time thing, I started recording an actual HD program (Lost) and while it was still recording I started the show over. I tried the skip button again and just as I suspected after the 6th time the DVR went to “Live TV” again.

At this point my wife told me that the same thing happened to her last week while she was recording another OTA channel. Since I was out of town I never knew about it until today.

I tested this with regular E* channels and could not duplicate it so I’m thinking that this is an OTA issue only.

Anyone else seen this?

Thanks

I had this problem sunday night watching OTA as well. Basically, I got to a spot and tried a 30 second jump and it sent me to the end. I backed up to the spot and tried again and the same thing happened.

I noticed this too. I assumed I just pushed the key too quickly..

Should be fixed in the next version. I just tried it on an OTA SD recording that had been going for 35 minutes. Started over at the DVR screen, watched a but, and then pressed the Skip Forward button 30 times. Worked normally as expected.

Sorry Mark,

I just couldn't let this one pass....

Could you elaborate on who's but you were watching??? :eek2: :eek2:

How did it look...I guess not too good if you had to skip forward to the end of the show.

Once again, sorry but I just couldn't resist. ;)
