The last two days they have been coming in and out, mostlt out. I thought maybe it was the weather, but it is pretty clear today. I did a switch test and the signal won't go above 45 strength and stay locked on. Could the dish have moved a little, leaves from trees in front, switch problem (The test seemed to indicate it was okay)? Thanks for any suggestions.

I had a similar problem this week where my 110 Even transponder channels would not work. I was getting about a 45-48 strength which I'm told is pretty low. What I did was turn to the signal mode on the tv and have someone go outside and move the dish slightly around (try tilting it back a bit). If the signal goes up then have them screw the dish in that spot. Then see if you get the 110 channels. This worked for me.

jericho, thanks and I will try that.
Echo V at 110W has always shown a much weaker signal strength than anything at 119W. With Echo VII its even more noticeable. I wonder if when Echo VIII is launched to 110W, in a few days, DishNewwork will finally be able to double power Echo V.
