I took down my SuperDish from the roof, leaving everything but the bracket for now.

What should I use to seal the holes left from the 6 bolts? I promised all hardware on my ebay auction, so I need to remove the bracket this weekend.

TIA :)

Remove all of the screws. Using a thin steel wire and a couple of sticks as a handle, slice through the silicone usually gluing the mounting brackets to the roof. Inject the holes with roofing cement from a caulking tube.

Be careful not to just pull the bracket off of the shingles or they will tear. A hacksaw blade removed from the saw works nicely also, you can bend the sides up to form handles.

The wire method works perfectly. I've removed mirror tiles from painted drywall with this method with no damage. The landlord was amazed. Stainless steel aircraft safety wire is the best.

You will damage both the shingles and the mounting bracket with a hacksaw blade.
