ESPN2-HD What ever happened?

So, I'm sitting here watching the College World Series on ESPN2, knowing that it is in HD, getting madder by the minute. What is the deal? Any more news on when this will be a channel or just more wait and see? It pisses me off that ESPN is doing this, too but that is smart by them - gets more advertisers over to ESPN2.

You can NEVER trust a new channel announcement by DirecTV. You can only believe things you actually see, not things you are promised.

Now someone will give a lawyerly answer that it was only "promised" this year, and this year is not over until 12-31. Which, if the point of a business was to be lawyer driven, rather than customer driven, would not be pointless.

I have not heard anthing new on TNT-HD or ESPN2, but I did notice that Cinemax channel 512 now shows that it is being broadcast in HD for many of the shows. I never heard any announcement that they were adding this, but it appears to be up.
