i was reading the other Dbs site and someone said logo is coming to ch 263 i assume this will go to total choice plus ???

PS I'm not gay :D and I'm not bashing anyone that is i have more respect then that

I have talked with DTV about LOGO this week and it WILL NOT be added to the lineup. The only way it would be added to DTV or DISH is that if VIACOM would make it a must carry.

Ch. 263 LOGO shows up in the program guide at DirecTV.com starting on the 10PM-12PM June 30th page. It could still be 9PM when the channel appears since the previous page is 8-10PM.

Why couldn't they have added something like MTV Hits or VH1 megahits instead of that channel?

The reason is that most people do not tune into regular programming on MTV Hits or VH1 Megahits... Logo will have many regular viewers.

LOGO Added To DIRECTV
LOGO, MTV's gay-themed channel will be added to DIRECTV's lineup July 7. The channel, which will offer a blend of music, movies and reality-oriented program will air on ch. 263.

Here is what the Logo website says now...Congratulations! LOGO is coming soon!Thanks to DIRECTV you’ll be able to see Logo on their digital line-up starting on 06/30/2005.Thanks for the heads up. I've placed it as a news flash. Good catch!

Brand-new channels -- like Fox Reality Channel and now Logo -- offer a banal lineup in the start-up phase. I don't expect anything. In fact, it's nothing impressive to be showing theatrical movies not originally deemed gay-friendly but later gay-friendly...and then be showing BBC America's Graham Norton doing his talk show. It's gonna take time.

I'll keep LOGO in the guide for the same reason I keep Lifetime, WE, etc. in the guide and that is because once in a blue moon they'll show a movie that I will want to watch.
