Carolina Will Win the Cup?

I didn't expect Carolina to make the playoffs.
They did.

I didn't expect Carolina to beat the Devils.
They did.

I didn't expect Carolina to beat the Habs.
They did.

I didn't expect Carolina to beat the Leafs.
They did.

Will Carolina win the Cup???

I can't imagine them even winning a game... But I thought they would get swept by New Jersey. I'm just going to keep my mouth shut on this one....

Everytime I think they should lose they win. :shrug:

I hope so! My wife's cousin by mariage is Ronnie Francis. (A real class act, too. When long time Flyers Rod Brind'Amour was traded to Carolina, 'Cousin Ronnie' was kind enough to meet him as he came of the plane.)

It would be great if Ron Francis could secure another skate around the rink with Lord Stanley's Cup, but this time with his original franchise!

Obviously, Carolina will not be favored when vying for the cup against the Red Wings or the Avs. And from what I've seen, I don't think Carolina has much of a chance against either team. The main reason is even though Carolina disposed of Toronto, I don't think their offense can match up with either of the other teams still in contention.
