Logos Updated?/Phone Line?

I have 2 receivers and one has the logos updated from time to time (like ESPNU, NFL Network, etc.)..... The hughes in my bedroom is never updated.... Does the updates come thru a phone line connection? My main receiver is a D10 and it is connected to a phone line.... It's no biggie but I always wondered if my hughes was connected to a phone line if the logos would be updated?

The updates are mainly done through the satellite

Does the newest of receivers contain programming logos? If so, I may consider buying a new receiver (D10, right?). This is a feature I really like.

yes the d10 have programming logos

You got a new ESPN U and NFL NETWORK logos thru the D10 update that just added ACTIVE. Along with many new updated logos.
