Every now and then, Roy plays an atrocious game. I recall the horrible game that he played when he was a member of the Montreal Canadians. He was pulled from the game after allowing several "soft" goals. He went ballistic when he returned to the bench and the incident was witnessed by a sellout crowd and was shown many times on ESPN's Sportscenter. That incident led to his being traded to Colorado. There's no doubt that he is a future Hall-Of-Fame goalie but he does, indeed, have this tendency to perfrom very poorly at times.
