For Sale: Toshiba DST3000 & Panasonic 3LNB dish $200.00 shipped
OK... My HDTiVo has been in place for 6 month now and is working as advertised so I can go ahead sell of my previous HD receiver.
Up for grabs is my Toshiba DST3000 High Definition DirecTV / ATSC (terrestrial broadcast) receiver. The receiver itself is in like new condition. Having read that some of these receivers had "heat issues" I always ran mine with a 4" fan on top drawing air through it. I never had the first minute’s problem with it. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where I can get over 20 digital channels from 2 different directions. This receiver picked up everything that is available to me without any problems at all. Included is the original box and packing, owner’s manual, all of the cables that came with the unit and the remote. The remote is also in "as new" condition as I used it for maybe 30 minutes to program my Pronto remote then put it in the drawer. The cables have never been untied.
I guess I’ve been a little paranoid about the HDTiVo not living up to expectations. The receiver is still active on my account just in case the HDTiVo took a dump. I hooked it up yesterday to test it. It works just as well as it always did. I can now remove it from my account. There is no "balance" to worry about; we never get PPV movies or events. You might need to get a replacement card from DirecTV, I'm not sure if they'll activate a current card on a different account.
The package also includes a Panasonic TADA2420 oval dish with the third LNB (Sat-C) and a 4X4 multiswitch in the package. The dish was used for about 8 months prior to buying a ChannelMaster GainMaster dish in order to improve the "rain fade" situation. Here in Central Florida we get a LOT of rain during the summer months. The multiswitch has never been used. Even if you don’t need the dish having a complete set of LNBs and a multiswitch can be handy in a pinch.
A photo of the receiver is at http://www.hoakhouse.com/forsale/dst3000.jpg I don’t have a picture of the dish. It’s already all boxed up. I suppose I could open it and take some if someone need to see a picture.
The price is $200.00 including shipping (UPS Ground service) within the 48 states. Payment by PayPal (no extra charge) or postal money order. PayPal payments get next day shipping. Money order payments will get shipment upon arrival of payment.
I've not sold much here but I have 100% positive eBay feedback under the name teknoid42
