Does your caption edge color work?

I am really enjoying transparent background for caption with P2.89, but I'm not sure how I can get edge color setting work.

I tried caption's foreground color as white, edge color as black (if I remember correctly) and background opacity as transparent, but all I see is just white text only without actual edge regardless of edge style I select.

What I want to get is white caption with black outline (edge) so I can see the text even with white screen.

Am I doing something wrong? :confused:

Thanks,
Sunghwa

You have to change the background color for transparent to work.

Try these settings:
Caption Opacity = Transparent

Caption Colors:
Background color = Red
Foreground color = Provider
Edge = Provider

Capition Edge Style:
Uniform

This is what it looks like:

Thanks,
SunghwaI have tried to get a dark outline to show just around the edge of the text letters, numbers and symbols also. Nada. I have found that making the text yellow works very well with all backgrounds. I really like the CC as it remains in the viewing area even when I stretch and fully zoom!

I like the small font on the 811--real smooth. The outline color works on the 921 but the fonts are much bigger/uglier and not truly opaque, although more varied. And both finally have transparent background. For some images (white/yellow/brown) I find cyan works better than yellow, YMMV. For really tough images, use the translucent or opaque background. I use yellow with black outline and transparent background most of my 921 time.
