If you have a spare peice of coax sitting around you can make your own. Cut it to about 10" in length, put a connector on it (if it doesn't have one) and strip the insulation off all except about an inch or so. Plug it in and it should work. I have done this several times. A factory one may do a better job, but this might work for you.

Same here.
I use one in a building that's out of remote range from the house. That antenna sends a signal back to the receiver where I couple it with the original antenna (using a regular splitter/coupler), letting me control the receiver from either location. Works great.
