Dish Feature Request

For any Dish reps reading, two requests:

1) I have a problem with the vertical size of my picture, it is too big, thus I lose a little bit of the picture. My Panasonic panel is set to minimize the vertical size, but the picture is still too big. The 942 is set on "Partial Zoom" which I don't want to change.

2) When setting a timer, the default is to "All Episodes. I'd like it to default to "Once."

robbers, what are you trying to do with partial zoom? Are you using it to blow up a standard def letterboxed image on a 4:3 broadcast so that it will fill your whole 16:9 panel?

If so, realize that there are multiple letterbox aspect ratios, e.g., 1.85:1, 2.35:1, so any attempt to make partial zoom work for this is no more than a best approximation that will work better for some material than for others.

Dish Network added that function in the last software update to the 522/625 receivers. I think we will see this on the 942 soon. The 721 has done this all along.
