Discrete SD & HD commands?

are there discrete commands for SD or HD, or perhaps discrete commands to make the receiver jump straight to 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i output resolutions? Switching back and forth using the SD/HD toggle often causes the HD output res to default back to 480p.

I am pretty sure they don't have any. There is a number of threads talking this subject. Do a search and you should find a lot of hits. There is some documenation in some manuals indicating a method to do SD/HD descrete. That feature is not implemented in the 921.

It was implemented. Then it was broken. And it hasn't been fixed yet.
