Favorites List Corrupt

I had my 811 unplugged for a few days as I was installing hardwood floors. I plugged it back in, and my favorites were gone.

In the menu, the name of the favorites list is corrupt (a bunch of random letters, and it changes). When I try to add channels and then save, I get an error that the favorites list I am trying to save contains no channels.

I've tried modifying List 2, 3, and 4 (which I never used before) and I get the same error each time.

I've tried both soft and hard reboots, but haven't had any luck. Please help me create a favorites list!

Jeff,

Welcome.. This is a known issue with 287. What you need to do is.

1) Reset to factory Defaults
2) Clear all your OTA channels.
3) Hard Reboot (pull plug wait 15 seconds put plug back in)
4) Reset to factory defaults
5) Hard Reboot again.

That should do the trick. This is talked about and if you do a search you should find some hits on it. I would right more but don't have time at the moment.
