Automatic Deletion

Maybe I'm stupid but he automatic deletion of a timer is not happening. I set some series to record M-F and to keep a maximum of two and nothing is ever getting deleted and they are not set to protected.

Anyone know what gives?

I am having the same problem with an OTA manual timer. The function did work when I tried it with a name-based timer from a Dish channel.

This is channel 205, FoxNews. I haven't tried it with an OTA channel yet.

First of all, timers don't get automatically deleted. Recorded events do, if you define the timer to only keep x number. Take a look at your timer definition and tell me how you have it defined, please.

Yep, excuse my incorrect terminology.

The timer in question is for channel 205 from 7:00 to 8:00 M-F and is set to only keep 2 recorded events. I have two O'Reilly Factors recorded and it's currently recording a 3rd one now.

I bet it doesn't delete it. No they are not set to protected.

So it's not working for me. I even deleted the timer and recreated it last week.

Maybe I'm still missing something.
