I experienced most of the problems others had after 215, and then came home the other night to find another upgrade downloading. Great, I thought... but that was a couple days ago now.

Rebooted from the front panel, hard reset by pulling the power plug... each and every time, it boots back up, I get the HDTV logo for a minute, then into 683, "Installing new software. Please wait..."

After a few minutes that goes away, and I'm left with a blank screen, green light still flashing. I've let it sit overnight twice now, same deal.

Waiting on a call back from the 921 team (sent my info to Mr. Lamutt per that thread...). Any ideas I can try in the mean time? It's already been a day and a half that I've been waiting on them.

Thanks,
John

If you can get the menu up, you might try checking that you are getting a signal and do a check switch. My 216 started 3 different times before it finally took.

Good Luck,
Larry

No menu... no system info... nada.

I've had it since January/February of this year... since at this point I'm assuming the thing's dead, am I still likely under warranty?

Warrenty is 1 year, so yes.
