Recording on TV2 with a timer?

It's simple to record a show on TV2 while it's in-progress, as it just gives you the option when you press the record button. How can I set it so that it records on the TV2 tuner from an event timer? I've searched the user manual and this forum but I couldn't find anything.

Menu-8-6 Record Plus. Enable it, and set it to TV2. :)
