What may cause a remarkable difference in the signal strength between my 942 and a 510? The 510 has a stronger signal from the same satellites,(110/119/61.5) than the 942. It's adaquate, but still there is a difference.
They both come off of the same dishes. 1 500 dish with a DP-Twin for the 110/119. And a 500 dish with a DP-Dual for the 61.5. 2 Coax from the Twin and 1 Coax from the Dual into a DP-34 switch. From there, there is coax each to the 942, an 811 and a 510.
Should I be worrying about this, or should I be happy with what I have now?
Thanks for the response ahead of time:

All dual tuner receivers typically show less signal strength, I have noticed no difference in rain for the two receivers so I wouldn't worry unless it was a very significant drop (all 3 signals should still be above 80)

Like signal strength bars on different cell phones, the numbers on different receivers are not necessarily comparable. I wouldn't say the signal strength on the 942 is worse unless you observe that 942 routinely experiences rain fade on channels that still come in fine on the 510.

I just finished surfing the TP's on all of the satellites into the 942, and they all had a pretty good reading. Nothing below 87. I think that I won't have any problem with the signal. The difference in the readings was something that I didn't have an answer to. I thought that I might have to reallign the dishes to get a better reading. Thanks for the response. I can sleep better tonight.
