View Full Version : Cannot manually create time for channel <100 - RESOLVED

In L218, I cannot create a timer for an OTA channel. If I select menu, 7, create , I only see channels 101 and up. I cannot for example, manually create a timer for channel 005-1. If I allow the dish locals to map down from *xxx to 5 etc, then the challes <100 show up in the manual create timer list.

ie. It will not allow me to manually create a timer for any OTA channel, digital or analog.

I can create a timer for the OTA digital channels (but not analog) from the EPG however. I can then edit the timer and the channels <100 do show up in the list.

I cannot remember if this bug existed before, but the 921 should allow you to manually create a timer for any approved channel - this includes OTA digitals. In most cases there is a workaround, but not if you want to set up a specific recording timer for say 2 weeks or more out.

Anybody else seen this bug?

I can create OTA manual timers but I have to enter 9999 or 007-01, etc. to get the OTA's showing. Under Menu 4>2>More, under Viewer Preference, I have the Off-Air Antenna Locals disabled this allows the lil channels to show.

Menu 7, then must go to bottom of list. Lcls appear after the 9000 series assignments

As boylehome and mgcsooner have said, local channels are listed at the bottom of the channel list. You can directly enter the local channel you want to jump to (ie 00901 to jump to channel 9-1), or you can enter something in the 9000s, and then scroll down to the local channels in the list.
