E* STBs at RatShack

Anyone see any yet? I saw one 301 with the RCA logo on it that was higher up on the self hidden underneeth a D* RCA box. Gee, I hope Thomson actully buides their own boxes, not use the 301, 501 and 6000 with an RCA logo.

I have never seen one. I thought they were just doing the leasing. But if youa re finding them in stock well that info may be faulty.

I had never paid much attention to it before but I was just noticing that RCA makes the UTV units for D*. Since they announced on the last tech chat that MS was working on the Dishplayer again is it possible that they may come out with a UTV for E*?

Given the E*-MS Dishplayer situation I dont think so.

I think that they plan to keep the UTV platform around post merger but I dont think they plan to expand the E* product line in this way.

This subject came up in another forum. Some seem to think that some RS outlets were already selling DISH and that only those have STBs in stock. No idea.

I hope they have a good sale on a Qual LNB, I'll need one in a couple of months, but I don't want to pay $160 for it.
