Starting Monday August 29th Call for Help is returning to G 4. they will be showing shows from December and progressing forward. The program will still be produced in Canada, so G 4 won't have any say over content.G4 bought the show probably to shore up ratings. The show will air at 8 AM PST, so set your Tivos DVRS!

Is this reruns only (obsolete topics), or will G4 produce new shows with Leo, or some other propeller-head?

G4 in Canada has been producing the show all along. It is Leo laporte and an otherwise Canadian cast. According to the first post in this thread the US G4 will start airing shows from this past December. That seems crazy to me but everything at G4 seems crazy to me.

That's not what Leo told us in chat and on his KFI radio show. G4 bought the last 4 months.. so like May-August. And will be showing those first then catching up with new eps around Feb next year.

Better then nothing.

I wonder if hes till does the Post Christmas marathon show? BTW hoiw are they going to "Cath up'? Are they running more than 5 hos per week?

On Leo's radio program on KFI he said Kevin Rose will do half of the programs from now on.

I wouldn't be surprised if they bought the old episodes for a lower price so they can show them and see how it does in the ratings. If it does well then maybe they might buy and show current episodes. If it doesn't do well then they have spent a minimal amount of money.

Why would G4 buy the shows from their own G4TechTV subsidiary? I understand they own 10% or so and cable companies own the rest?
