I know, there are more than a few odd occurrences, but I don't recall seeing anything about the latest one that happened to me. I hit the browse button to scan through the channels, looking for something interesting to watch. Every time I hit the select button it would go to the right channel, but none of the shows were what the browse banner showed as being on at that time. After having my wife verify that this was, in fact, the case, she noticed that the date in the top of the banner was yesterday's date and the shows were what was on yesterday. The EPG had the correct date and shows. A power cord reboot returned everything back to "normal". Things that make you go hmmm....... :eek2:

Was Rod Sterling in the room? Sounds like you entered the Twilight Zone. I've never had this one, yet.

It seems like I've spent a lot of my life in the Twilight Zone, so that's why I asked for verification from the missus, whose feet are firmly planted in reality. http://www.websmileys.com/sm/aliens/spacecraft.gif

I have seen that several times on my 921's in the past. I think it only happened if I left the 921 tuned to an OTA channel for an excessively long period of time.

In my case, I don't have any OTA so something else must have been going on.

I wonder if this is related to timers firing one day early bug?

This happens to me whenever I get rain (or snow) fade. If the satelite feed it interrupted for a significant length of time the banner on 921 loses it's sense of time.

A dead givaway that this is happeneing is by the color of the current program in the EPG. The current program should be green, not blue. A blue program will not show up in the banner because the banner is out-of sync. This out-of-sync condition may also be on some channels but not others. The only blue you should see in the EPG (for the current time) is analog OTA chanels (should you have any scanned).
