Since P289, there has been a new "Details" screen under the "System Info" menu. I'm finding it to be quite common that I have several "Signal Loss" messages in this log, like today - "Between 6:52 p.m. 8/24 and 12:52 a.m. 8/25 you had 16 signal losses."

I thought that this probably meant I had a signal loss from rain fade or something. The 811 is my secondary receiver, and I don't actually watch it that much. However, I was actually watching my 811 during the time of the "16 signal losses" last night, and I didn't notice that I lost signal, so what exactly is my 811 trying to tell me? Could these log entries be caused by my switch? (I'm thinking slow response when switching between satellites. - My switch is a SW64.)

Yes this happens. Take it into consideration that it will count a loss even if it was only 1 transponder on one bird in your config. I am having issues with TP 3 and 5 on 61.5. Yes these are the TPs 3 of the Voom channels are on and that is frustrating. But my highest was 84 losses in a day. Only reception I lost was Rave. I am pretty sure I have a heat issue on the LNBF, sooner or later I'll get up there to replace it. But yes, it is not uncommon for it to read more than one, again it sees any TP on any Bird. I have asked if it counts say a TP switching a NIT. I haven't heard back on that one yet.

Thanks, Jason. One observation I've made is that I seem to have more "signal losses" when I'm using the receiver and changing channels vs. when it is just sitting in standby or on a single channel.

I've lost signal several times, and the little counter has yet to register any of them. I had lots of rain fade just two or three nights ago, and lost signal for over 20 min, yet my system info still shows a 0 in that box! Go figure!
