Why Must I be logged in to view the potpourri thread??

Because some people are offended by all the non-DBS stuff that goes on in the non-DBS portion of the site. You have to be registered and logged in so that you won't be scared away and decide not to join when you learn that sometimes we don't agree on politics, religion, and sex. Most of the time we agree on sex, but not always.

Yes Chief, if you are mixing up politics and sex, you might have a problem. Or sex and religion. Then again, sex seems to all to often get mixed up in both politics and religion. :lol:

OK guys, this isn't the potpourri forum - but you are right: potpourri is now for registered users only.

It is a matter of first impressions. Visitors here should see this site for the DBS and satellite related threads in the open forums - Once they have decided to join the nearly 14,000 other registered users they can see and participate in the off-topic forum 'potpourri'.
