I had Napster for a one week trial to get some rare songs I couldn't get on Livewire and I hated it. I have my old computer set up as a music server and download all my MP3s on there and play them on this machine. Well apparently you can't do that on Napster and after the trial the files 'expires'. Screw that. I downloaded about 20 songs and recorded them directly from my sound card in MP3 format. Sound quality is just as good as the downloaded file and I can do anything I want with it.
After I got my songs converted I canceled.
But to answer your question, I didn’t have problems playing the file, but I use Winamp, not the Napster internal player. This was a week and a half ago.

I've used Napster buying music without problems for 2 years, up until a week ago when I went to Yahoo Music. The sunscription service is only $5 a month. I've enjoyed it so far.

Gee, maybe moving it here where it is on topic wasn't a bad idea, was it?

They claim to have 1 million, so far I have found all that I've wanted. But like I said I've only been playing with it for about a week.
I usually listen to all of Leo's podcasts first, then I'll play the music.
