I posted this in duplicate by mistake and I cant delete it!!No worries, I removed the duplicate. But Juan you should be able to remove prior to anyone posting in the thread. While viewing your duplicate, Edit Your post # 1 in the empty duplicate thread, then select delete and give reason as duplicate. Removing post #1 from a thread not yet responded to typically makes the whole thread go away. Of course there are other scenarios where this wouldn't work like someone is already viewing and replying, etc..

Sorry I could not help myself. Yes to some tennis is an exciting sport with deep strategy and excitement bar none but to others (ala George Carlin)...

That's not how I read that article. "(Tennis Channel CEO Ken) Solomon says his numbers will go up when he inks deals with cable operator Charter Communications and the two satellite TV operators, DirecTV and EchoStar Communications." That's like me saying a book will be a success when lots of people buy it.

I have been saying for months that IMHO, the only way Dish would add cool new sports channels such as the NFL Channel is in the Sports Pack, and the only way they'd do that is by adding a tier to the Pack or using the new channels as an excuse to raise the price. Maybe if that ever happens, Tennis will be a part of it.

They should put the Tennis Channel and Goal in the multisports package. These sports are minor sports and everybody shouldn't be forced to pay for them.

Sounds good to me... in fact how about this novel idea.... how about we pay for the channels we want :)

Anyone know if the Tennis channel will be added soon, it has been uplinked now for sometime? The name is in the EPG and there is also programming info in the guide so I am hopeful that this means that Dish has a deal and it will be added eventually?!

Best guess is that new channels will coinside with the price increases (not to infer that the price increases are due to new channels or vice versa).
