One more:
When I am watching a DVR'ed program, a lot of times I want to know how far into the program I am. The kludge way, is to pause it, you see the progress through the recording, and then unpause.
I'd rather not have to pause the program (always lose about 1 sec of audio that way).
What I'd like to see, is when I hit the info key, how much time is left in the recording.

On the 501 & 921, hitting "cancel" brings up the program banner showing time remaining in the program - either live or recorded. Is that not true on the 522?

I would like the the Caller ID to function all the time. I would also like to see the sort list in the timers to stay sorted like they now do in the DVR Recordings list. Fix the occasional audio dropouts. They need to also create a separate DVR recordings list screens for TV1 and TV2. Make the new Dish home mosaic screen so that we can choose our own channels in the preview screens.
Here's one I'd LOVE to see: Give us editing features, so that we can "top and tail" our recordings, and even split events at designated points, delete areas between splits, and merge the rest together, much like alot of the set-top DVD Recorders, with harddrives. At the VERY least, give us a product that works, reliably!

The forward button gives the same info as well.

I like the editing idea. Believe it or not, sometimes I'd like to save a commercial in a program I don't want to keep.
Moose- But the idea is to not interrupt what I'm watching. :)

Pressing the right arrow adds transparent info at the top of the screen, it doesn't intterupt the program being viewed. At least this is how it works on my 508.

I think he meant the "BROWSE" button.
