The football game on WTVG ABC 13 is unwatchable, and the rest of the channels are pretty bad as well.

Halo/aura effects around moving objects (people's heads) on the news.

There's only 5 channels on Tp24 @121 according to Lyngsat... so why do they all look like there's 15 on there? It's gonna be awful trying to watch the games tomorrow.

I hope E* reads this and clears it up.

have u tried calling Dish ???
While the do monitor every channel they uplink, there may be some lag noticing a problem with locals. If you are having a probelm, call them and report it rather then post here and b*tch about it.
Also, ahve u checked your signal strength, it's possible your dis is slightly out of alignment.

I think the place to go is dishquality@echostar.cim We've had some issues here in the Cincinnati Area with locals and e-mails to this address (I think) cleared it up within a few days. Bill R from accross the river was vital in getting the last problem taken care of where all the channels looked like hell!

See ya

It sounds like there may be some sort of problem with the local reception node for that area. I'm sure Dish isn't ignoring the problem intentionally, there just isn't a way to monitor 6-10 channels from over 200 markets, plus the 180+ channels of the standard packages, 100's of international channels, and PPV channels they broadcast every minute of every day.

Again, if you have a problem, CALL DISH AND REPORT IT, or try the email address above.

When you send a complaint to this address be sure to give them a few days to look into the problem. In our case (Cincinnati), the problem turned out to be at the Cincinnati POP (point of presence) which was (and I believe still is) maintained by Sprint. It took them a few days to get most of the problems fixed and a follow-up email to get a ghosting problem fixed on one of the stations. Later, I did get a call from someone at DISH's uplink center to make sure that all my concerns had been addressed.
