How do i hook this up?

There's several ways to do it. The question is what do you want? Do you want DVR on one or both or do you just want to watch some tv?

811 and 311 would get you watching tv on both tvs, one in HD.
942 would get you hd on one tv, SD and downcoverted HD on the other, and DVR usage at both.
811 and 510 sitting at the same location but backfed to the second tv would get you basically the same as the 942 but you couldn't DVR any HD channels.

811/625. One HD live, two DVR tuners, no HD recording but also no $250 extortion fee. Same cost as the 811/510 combo as long as you hook the 625 to a phone line.

IIRC, E* is dropping the 510 in favor of the 625. It may already be in effect.

I just want to view HD on one TV and SD on the other and record HD shows. I would just get the 942 and Voom but in 6 months from now or whenever the D1000 comes out i'd have to buy more....

The 942 would work and the Dish 1000 should be available in just a few weeks.
